Job Description:
The ideal candidate must have excellent customer interaction skills and hands-on experience with hardware and software issue resolution. They should be proficient in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing various systems and tools used in our managed service provider (MSP) environment.
Requirements
• Customer Interaction:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their technical needs.
• Anti-virus:
○ Sonicwall Capture Client: Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and management.
• Email Security:
○ Microsoft Defender: Proficient in configuring and managing email security measures.
• Remote Monitoring and Management:
○ Ninja RMM: Experience in remote monitoring, patch management, and bulk software deployments.
• Firewall:
○ Sonicwall Firewall: Knowledgeable in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewall rules and policies.
• Documentation:
○ IT Glue: Proficient in maintaining and updating IT documentation.
• Password Management:
○ 1Password: Experience in managing secure password storage and policies.
• Ticketing System:
○ Zendesk: Familiarity with managing support tickets, workflows, and customer i interactions.
• Hardware Appliances Monitoring:
○ Meraki Switch: Knowledgeable in monitoring and managing network switches.
• Phone/Call Management:
○ Zoom: Experience in managing and troubleshooting phone and call management systems.
• Time Tracking:
○ TimeSolv: Proficient in tracking time for various tasks and projects.
• Document Sharing:
○ NetDocuments, OneDrive, SharePoint: Experience in managing and sharing documents across these platforms.
• Internal Chat:
○ Slack: Proficient in using Slack for team communication and collaboration.
• Printers & Scanners:
○ Experience in managing and troubleshooting printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to hardware and software.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless devices.
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems from vulnerabilities.
• Administer and maintain antivirus solutions.
• Ensure the timely application of patches and updates to all systems.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of systems and procedures.
• Manage password policies and secure password storage.
• Monitor and manage hardware appliances and ensure optimal performance.
• Handle ticketing system operations and ensure prompt resolution of user issues.
• Manage phone systems and ensure efficient call management.
• Track time spent on various tasks and projects for accurate billing and reporting.
• Facilitate document sharing and collaboration across teams.
• Coordinate internal communications through chat platforms.
• Manage printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or Mater degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in an MSP environment.
